Our story

Rebel Coffee brings a little slice of Italy to Walthamstow.

We don't want to just serve you coffee. We want to provide you with a coffee that comes with a chance to stop, even for just a second, and enjoy the moment.

Coming from a long line of Italian restauranteurs, coffee roasters and bar owners, Alice's passion for good food and coffee is no surprise.

Pictured in black and white are Alice's grandpa Nonno Eraldo's with Alice's Mamma Marina in their restaurant back in the 1970s. The coffee Nonno's about to serve up is the same coffee as ours. It's a recipe that lives on from Alice's great uncle Ezio. We hope we're doing them proud!

Coffee

We couldn't be more proud to bring to E17 coffee from the hills of Italy, roasted and blended a recipe unchanged for generations. The best bit: it's a blend perfected by Alice's late great uncle Ezio, kept alive by his son Eros.
Ezio and Eros Profumo (which means perfume) now have their amazing coffee aroma in the UK for the very first time.

Drinks

We offer all the expertly made barista coffees you would expect, a local brand of chai brewed with a traditional method, the best thick hot chocolate, all the teas, smoothies and a range of refreshing Italian soft drinks, from the classic aranciata to chinotto.

Cakes

We have a selection of gluten-free cakes and treats, locally baked by small producers.
